Display font built for usage with a 3—4 colour system.
Fold was generated in a systemic approach to uphold the fundamentals of a sans serif typeface; this therefore allowed for an increase of colour play within the design of the font. Using a 3 colour division within the letter forms, shows a new wave approach in allowing a step away from a sans serif. Having the fonts fundamental, pinned, structure as the baseline upholds the parameters to create a useable display typeface.
Adding the folded natured design within the predetermined grid of the font creates a playful adaptation of creativity and functionality. Fold sits in a nuance design principle that has been adapted from ADOM’s followed structure of conditional norms within subculture; to output a nomadically justified play on cultural norms such as generic based letterforms.
