Environmental pattern translation.
Seasons is a project that was made during a year of colour collection from within separate environments that tied into the comparative season they were found in. Using the nomadic colour exploration throughout the year to pair with different seasons this made for very definite pairing translated within the pattern.
Building the pattern allowed for each building block to adapt to the same nurturing touch you find in nature. Carefully constructing every element to the artwork, the output allowed for the design principles used to be seen at the forefront for the viewer. Gridded structure is paramount in ADOM’s design as it uses principles used to convey the transition from reality to the digital world.
